The girls apparently had a nice, comfy tent.

Preston and Douglas held it down at the Upper School campground.

Hugo’s food group consistently had some of the best-smelling grub around.

The Lower Schoolers had to fuel up before the first  of three exciting hikes.

The rangers gave us an intriguing talk about the canyon and their roles in the park.

One of many amazing views!

Hugo and a group of students take a well-deserved break on one of the hikes.

They don’t call it the GRAND Canyon for nothing!

Hiking along the Widforss trail, clouds  looming in the background.

These juniors and seniors were always having  a blast between hikes!

 Ready and raring to go!

The three amigos: Bill, Jason, and Hugo.

These Upper Schoolers look so much more energetic in the morning than Jason, who's yawning in the background.

Henry and Patrick had fun at the Lower School campground!

Aija, Alicia, and Lily certainly enjoyed the spectacular views!

RastaDillon, explaining this year's senior gift to Gordon!

Hannah happily shares what she appreciates about the trip.

The boys are taking a break from their usual scheming.

The hiking spirit was in full force!

The Widforss trail was about 10 miles roundtrip, so there were plenty of great photo opportunities.

We made it 1400 feet down to the Supai Tunnel area!

The teachers made it down there too.

Look closely and you might notice something special about the rock.

Cape Royal probably offered the best views on the entire North Rim of the canyon!

   Libby looking over the edge.

Our awesome senior class had a great time together!

The whole school spent a good amount of time marveling at these views.

 Wow!

A nice meadow on the way to Widforss Trail.

Don’t worry—it’s not as dangerous as it looks, but it is even more beautiful than it looks!

Lunch time is always a good time after 5 miles of hiking!

Soldier march.

Brenda, Serin, and Zinnia: always smiling.

For some reason, these two look kinda similar...

Patrick is quite an artist.

Students ponder the idea of hiking even deeper into the amazing canyon.

Beth and the 7th graders had fun hiking to the lodge   together!

We have some super sophomores at Anacapa!

It's a good thing to those rails are there.

Hugo and some juniors chat it up as if they're in the  living room.

Gordon and Suzie know how to make these trips go smoothly.

Bright Angel Point had some great rocks to scale. Fun!

The girls learn about the canyon and its wildlife from one of the many knowledgeable rangers.

Anacapa's musical talent was on full display at the campground.
