Maurie Lord Poses with Posey

Maurie Lord, Class of 1989, shared a recent photo taken backstage at his most recent production “Curse of the Starving Class” by Sam Shepard. He says, “Yes, we had a live lamb on stage in a few scenes. The production went well and was a great experience. It was my fifth Sam Shepard play and probably the best one so far. The lamb was a crazy challenge but well worth it. Lambs need lots more attention than actors and are guaranteed to do unpredictable and messy things on stage. We named her Posey after the San Francisco Giants catcher Buster Posey.
