Eric Christeson Works in Biotech in San Francisco

Eric Christeson, class of 1987, went on to Sonoma State University after Anacapa, graduating with a degree in Chemistry.   From there he went into process development for a major enzyme manufacturer in South San Francisco California where he was responsible for the scale up to manufacturing.  He now work as a Facilities Manager for a biotech company in San Francisco.

He writes, “I chose chemistry as a major in college because of the inspired teaching I received from our chemistry and math teacher Paul at Anacapa.   Paul had his alma mater contact me as a prospective student and that helped to decide my future path even though I didn’t go to the same school.   I feel that Anacapa allowed me to develop into a balanced individual at a critical time in my life. The science fundamentals as well as the humanities programs allowed me to grow to my full potential while fostering a strong moral compass to guide me.”

He currently lives in San Francisco with his wife, two children, and three rabbits.
