Patrick Alcerro Chosen as an SBIFF Filmmaking Finalist
Anacapa School junior Patrick Alcerro has been recognized for the second consecutive year as a finalist in the 2012 Santa Barbara International Film Festival’s (SBIFF) 10-10-10 Student Filmmaking Competition! The 10-10-10 competition is a student filmmaking competition developed to bring together student filmmakers and industry professionals in an effort to encourage and assist a new generation of filmmakers. Students produce 10 films over a period of 10 days and are judged on both filmmaking and screenwriting criteria.
Later this month, Patrick will be paired with one of 10 student student screenwriters. The two will have 10 days to shoot and edit a 10-minute film before the February 3 deadline. A public screening will be held on Sunday, February 5 where the overall winners will be awarded. For more information, visit the SBIFF Web site.
