Patrick Alcerro & Genn Hatfield are SBIFF Finalists

Anacapa School senior Patrick Alcerro has been recognized for the third consecutive year as a finalist in the 2013 Santa Barbara International Film Festival’s (SBIFF) 10-10-10 Student Filmmaking Competition! The 10-10-10 competition is a student filmmaking competition developed to bring together student filmmakers and industry professionals in an effort to encourage and assist a new generation of filmmakers. Students produce 10 films over a period of 10 days and are judged on both filmmaking and screenwriting criteria.

Anacapa junior Genn Hatfield was selected as a finalist in the Student Screenwriting Competition. Patrick and Genn were each paired with a screenwriter and filmmaker respectively. The teams of two had 10 days to shoot and edit a 10-minute film. The contending 10-10-10 films were screened on Sunday, February 3rd, 2013.  For more information, visit the SBIFF Web site.
