Megan Nesland to Participate in Research Experience for Teachers
Anacapa science teacher, Megan Nesland, will spend this summer working in the UCSB Materials Research Lab as part of the Research Experience for Teachers program (MRL RET). The two-year program includes original research during the first summer and a focus on curriculum development during the following summer. Megan will work in the Stuky Lab, studying the biochemical behavior of blood-clotting proteins, and later create curriculum to make the research experience relevant to students at Anacapa.
